I received a marketing letter from Meridian right at the time I was considering refinancing my home. I had already spoken with two other lenders but decided to look up their online reviews. I am so glad I did! From the first phone call with Meridian, I had peace about using them. They walked me step by step seamlessly through the process and followed up with emails and phone calls as needed. They were always immediately in touch when I had a question, and have a team approach to assisting. They went over and beyond with customer service. I have already referred them and will continue to do so to anyone seeking a refinance. They offered outstanding service and assistance when I needed it.

The idea of refinancing was intimidating, but the people we had the pleasure of working with at Meridian made it an easy, seamless process.

My first couple months was filled with promises of refinancing all of my debt into my mortgage for one payment. It wasn’t until I signed off stating I will owe the company expenses is when they said none of the refinancing can occur because of my house equity in this was known from day one. Being pregnant I was thoroughly upset as I planned on lower payments and thought my financial worries were over. They were able to slightly reduce My mortgage interest rate in the end. Not what I called inquired about or wanted in the beginning. I should’ve went with the other company instead but now I can’t because I already signed the contract. They will draw you in with false promises so watch out.

Couldn’t have been any easier. They sent me overnight ups envelopes with everything and had a notary meet me at my work to sign papers. I never had to go anywhere. Paid off debt and got a lower rate also put cash in my pocket.

Even during this difficult time of the world going through the Covid-19 Pandemic, the process was very smooth. Matthew and Jennifer really took care of us from start to finish, letting us know what information would be needed, how to review, upload, and electronically sign. Then when it came time to close, Jennifer made sure we knew what was going to occur, what we would need, and who would be coming to our home.

I am a small business owner and in these times a refi can be hard to do. They made this easy and quick. Always responded to any questions I had in a timely manner. This was as painless as could be.

The process was handled nicely, couteously and moderately fast. I am sure it was as fast as it could be. I like that they kept me informed of the process the loan was in and how long they expected it to be.

Considering that I started my Refi in the middle of a Pandemic, the entire process was simple from beginning to end. The process only took sixty day and the whole team was professional every step of the way.

The official loan officer was not up-front about everything pertaining to the cash out, and the appraisal had to be re-done because it was not accurate. But we finally got there after 7 (seven) YES 7 MONTHS! In the end, we got a good rate and closed. Not sure if it was persistence or obstinance that enabled us to last that long.

The entire team was professional and made a tedious process easy. Meridian does not over promise but they do over perform! Highly recommend their services.

I was skeptical because of our high CC debt, though we had a lot of equity and perfect payment history. Meridian gave us options that allowed us to pay off several accounts and have a card burning party. They lowered my mortgage rate by 2-1/2% keeping our monthly payment almost the same. As retirees, cashflow is king. We are now in a comfortable position gowing forward. Very appreciative and grateful for their help.

Took four months for a refi from start to finish, perhaps partly due to Covid? My previous experience with Figure Lending probably spoiled me because they moved fast and any person I contacted could help me. Meridian had several different people at each leg of the process and most of the time I got information about my progress was because I had to continually reach out to them. I will not be sad if they sell my mortgage to another company. Unimpressed.

The worst experience we’ve ever had with a company. They lied to us on multiple occasions & even went behind our (my wife & I’s) backs and tried to call the other spouse when they couldn’t do a deal with one of us.

They are crooks with bad practices and we have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

I’d encourage you not to give them any of your money.

I could not have been happier! I came to Meridian after a dreadful and unsuccessful refinance with another lender. Right from the start, they were helpful, informative and always available to answer questions I might have. I would like to specifically mention Oliver Quinn who was so helpful and patient with all my questions and concerns. Hopefully I will never need to use your refinance services again due to credit card debt, but I would certainly, and without hesitation, recommend Meridian to someone else.

Spoke with Meridian approx 3 months ago, went through the entire process, was told everything was fine and they would send me a packet. Due to a death in our family I was out of state for awhile, when I returned I contacted meridian and apologized for dropping the ball, played phone tag. Yesterday spent some time with a Brendan with Meridian, we went through the refi, my debt, he had my credit report from April, since April I have paid off another 5K of my debt. He pulled a new credit report (Another ding to my credit report) told me he would email me everything later in the day. I never received anything in email, he called this morning and advised me that due to some changes that my credit score is 1 point lower than required. WOW!!!

Meridian was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They kept you up to date on everything and were very pleasurable and knowledgeable along the way. If you are in the market to finance or re- finance you should go with Meridian!

The process took a lot longer than I had expected. The appraisal came back way lower than it should’ve, so we couldn’t get any cash out like we had originally thought, and it seemed like way too many people were involved. The main guy I had started with didn’t even finish it up in the end, so that was confusing, but all in all I got a much better rate than I had before and better than they had first thought in the beginning. Also costs to refinance were much higher than I had hoped.

It all started with my receipt of an advertisement I received in the mail. We had tried a couple of options before the quarantine began but none were good options. My first contact was with Christopher John Andrews. He helped me complete the application to start the process. Since then I have been helped by Anthony Augustus Tucci, Phil Thompson, AJ Price, and Matt Warren. Norman Settles, who did our appraisal and James Gary, our closer were both professional and wore masks as required of the times. I have worked with Phil Thompson the most. He has always been quick to answer any questions and alleviate any concerns I had. I can honestly say this was the easiest refinance I have ever done. I would highly recommend Meridian to anyone. We had gone first to Wells Fargo where our mortgage currently is. They would only refinance the mortgage to a 15 year and give us a small amount to pay off other loans. The interest rate they offered was higher that the one we have and they refused to pay off any of the other accounts they had for us. That was a deal breaker for me. Thanks to Meridian we are able to pay off all of the Wells Fargo loans and close all the accounts we have with them. This whole process has been great. It took a little longer than we expected but with the virus situation it was understandable. I want to thank everyone who helped us along the way. I will recommend Meridian to anyone who ever asks my advise about a mortgage.

All of the staff was exceptional in their communication and updates on our refi. The closing was easy as the lawyer came to our home. He was masked and gloved. He explained any concerns we had.

Wife and I want to refinance and accomplish minimum of lower percentage and do a 20 year mortgage from a 30 shaving off 7 years of our mortgage. We also wanted to pay off a Credit card card and lower our monthly liabilities, though unable to accomplish that goal at this time. Process was simple and easy to navigate with Meridian. Ran into some snafu’s with the original loan with apparently a process we were never told we had to do, not Meridian’s fault, but caused some stress. If anything the refinance took a long time, we started right at the beginning of April and didn’t close until end of June.

We got caught in the middle of the Covid issues, but Meridian worked with us and communicated every week with us until we were finally able to close. Excellent communication and smooth process every step of the way!!

Our goal was to refinance our home at a lower rate and pay off a 2nd and some credit card debt. We started the process March 31st and closed on June 30. The delays were partially ours since we were in the midst of a remodel and had to complete a project. Other delays dealt with the verifying of funds in our 401K and underwriters/processors being overwhelmed. Initially I questioned to loan officer of the cost of doing the loan and I was quoted 1%. But in fact it was 2%. $2000 to $4000. Which I was disappointed in. They did lower our rate slightly from the original quote which was nice. Overall our processor Jen Palmer seemed to work hard for us. 😊
