Your loan officers were professional and attentive. I wasn’t thrilled with the final numbers but went with them. Loan costs were very high and it cost me cash back that originally I was told I would get back. On a scale of 1-10 … my overall experience is 7.5

The team that worked on my refinance worked hard for me and kept me updated at every step. I highly recommend Meridian.

After almost 5 months of jumping through hoops to “get the necessary paperwork”, working with 3 different people who kept losing the same paperwork, Meridian used the pandemic to deny me of my refinance. This was after receiving several “conditional approval” emails stating I was only one simple step away from completing the process and almost reassuring me that the refinance would go through. What a waste of time. I would not even give this scam company one star or will I EVER recommend anyone to do business with them.

Overall process was smooth. I was well informed throughout the process. It did take awhile to close, but was expected with pandemic.

From beginning to end, Meridian Mortgage did exactly what they said they would do. What was really fantastic to me was how they took ownership of the process, as though it was theirs instead of mine, and I was the one that needed the mortgage. Thank you Meridian

I’m very happy with the way my whole refinance process went with meridian. Very friendly and informative people. Kept in communication with me the whole time and answered all my questions. Closing costs ended up being WAY more than I was initially quoted, by almost double actually, but what can ya do everything is expensive now a days. All in all though I would recommend them on the basis of friendly and informative employees and a very easy and professional process through closing.

It was great working with them. Even though the process took a little longer than planned due to the pandemic, still very pleased. They kept you informed with everything. Thanks again.

The Professional Team was outstanding in their support of my refinance requirements. Although the time cycle was somewhat extended,they provided continuous updates on what was occurring. The pandemic impact was overcome.

I started this process when the beginning of COVID-19 happened. I had a great team supporting me throughout the whole process. The whole thing took about two months and that is longer than normal but I was kept abreast of what was going on the whole time while the team awaited the underwriter. I would highly recommend Meridian.

My experience with the process was excellent. Being patient during this period of a pandemic, no one knew what would happen from one day to another, the staff were reassuring, professional, and kept me informed at least weekly. Finally, we were successful and are able to move ahead with our plans.

My home finance was a long process even though I returned requested documents in less than 48 hours. I closed in two and one half months. The process was made endurable by your employee Amy Therit. Amy was thorough, efficient, empathetic, cheerful and a real people person. You are fortunate to have her in your employ. Please convey to her my appreciation for her and the job she did.

I applied for our refinance on 4/6 and we closed on 5/11. Meridian’s staff did what they said they would do and kept us informed every step of the way. I questioned some charges on our closing estimate and they quickly made the adjustments. Even during the COVID-19 situation, they came through and finalized our loan quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend!

I believe this was the 3rd time my wife and I have re-financed. The last time we did it, 2016 I think it was, was a terrible experience. This re-fi with Meridian could not have gone easier. Everything was spelled out as far as what we needed, when to have it to them by, how to get the documents to them. And the close… 42 minutes! I would definitely recommend Meridian and use them again.

They refinance process with Meridian was good. The staff kept us informed with all the processes. It may have taken a bit longer doe to the pandemic. All in all the experience was good.

Your teams are the best. My past experiences with either purchasing a home (I purchased 4 homes and refinanced this one 3 times) never have I had such a good experience, treated with respect, politeness and every communication clearly explaining what was needed and what the next step was going to be. Because of my experience I have told all my friends and my clients about Meridian. Thank you to all of you for making this loan process a good experience for me.

I was particularly impressed by Matt Fisher and Amy Therit, who both stayed all along the process and it made me save money through these tough times. The appraisal came out more than expected.

The only draw back, that I didn’t give you a 5 star was on the rate. Initially, I was quoted 3.5% for 15 years and I had to negotiate for 3.25, while the national average is 2.75%. I do have an excellent credit history.

I felt, your staff should have passed on that rate, even without me asking and negotiating

I just wanted to start by saying I was in the mortgage business for 15 years, 12 as a loan officer and 3 in tech support. I’ve seen a lot of good and bad mortgage companies through the years. We give your team an A+. They were all tremendously friendly and professional through the entire process. We took a chance by answering one the recent mailings that we had been receiving and couldn’t have been happier, and couldn’t have come at a better time! This will definitely help us financially.

Nick , Steve and Anthony made the process of refinancing my home seamless. During a period in history where working remotely is the new normal this Mortgage company made it feel like they sat at the same table with you during the process. Should anyone have doubts about getting there mortgage through Meridian because they are in a different state–rest assured this company is “Professional” in every way. Online processes with personal information are “safe” and “secure”. Quality organization that is transparent throughout the process.

People were wonderful; they replied quickly to any question. But, overall, the process just took too long. I was told it was due to a “backlog” of applications. Perhaps. Or, perhaps it was waiting to see what would happen with the initial stages of coronoavirus. In the end, all was well

I have previous experience refinancing my mortgage so I

know the process. I am a retired public employee with a state pension and now work another job with a decent income. Meridian had difficulty with accepting my pension as income and informed me that pensions could be taken away. Thanks Meridian for telling me that my state pension that I earned, paid into and my previous employer matched is not your version of income even though I was awarded the monthly pension income for my service. I’m not impressed.

My experience with Meridian was great. They answered all my questions and went over all my options. They helped me do a refinance with money back to pay off debt. The whole process was simple.

This is the second time we have refinanced our home and I feel that this was a better overall experience. Everyone we worked with was very responsive and always made sure our questions were answered in a timely manner.

The people were great but it took over 4 months to get it done. The underwriters were the focus of the problem. The requests for slow and painstakingly stupid at times. They had full access to all the data and yet had to be poked and prodded into taking action. I HAD TO REMIND EVERYONE that my rate lock was running out. At times I thought you were trying to NOT make the loan. In the end it finally worked out with me riding the issue all day every day!!

From start to finish Jordan and Zach and their teams made the whole process easy to understand and personalized to my needs and expectations. Even with a pandemic underway things went without a hitch. Thanks for a great job!

Spent nearly 2 months working through the process with Meridian only to have them tell us we only qualified for $10k for debt over our home refinance amount.

That was after being told our credit was excellent and our appraisal was more than our annual county report.

The only issue we were advised of was a supposed $1200 debt on my husband’s credit report from 2014. Asked for a copy of the credit report they pulled because the company they claimed we owed money to had no record of any debt. Was told they couldn’t and we should pull our own free annual report with the 3 credit agencies, which we did. There was NO debt with the company they stated we owed money to.

The first rep we spoke to knew our current mortgage, our home value, our debt and desired plan. Never were we informed, even though she was a licensed relator that we were unlikely to be able to secure more than $10k. Instead, it was always about if our home value was less than we reported.

Reading other reviews and asking myself, “How does someone in our situation only qualify for such a small amount with so many glowing reviews from others not in the same position?”

Something is definitely not right in Meridian land! Lesson learned…there is a reason we’ve always thrown away mailer pieces and felt they were false advertising waiting for their next victim because they are.

The whole process was very smooth. Meridian’s team kept us informed the entire way through the every phase of the refinance. The online forms were also very convenient..

I found myself caught up in debt over special circumstances in the matter of a year (multiple emergency dog surgeries/vet bills, personal medical bills, car repairs) So I found myself consumed with credit card bills and it was hard to make ends meet even though I made a decent salary. It made me continue to build debt up without the extra cash just for basic things like groceries, clothes for my so . Going through this refinance with extra debt consolidation was the best thing that has happened. It took quite some time, but I knew that it was due to thorough work to find a way for me to get this done. The team always kept me posted and after it was approved for closing, it was a speedy process to get the $ to pay these bills. I truly appreciate this life changing help that Meridian has offered me.

I received a letter with a great refi offer from meridian. From the time I first called to the end everyone was extremely responsive and was able to do most everything electronically. We got funded last week and are very happy with the entire process.
