If there was a 6th star I would give them a 10th! This was the best experience with a mortgage company that we have ever had. They told us it would take around 60 days! it was actually less than that and on the day they said we would close we closed! Bullseye! They provided an easy secure way of sending and receiving documents. They called us every few days to provide current progress status. I recommend this company to all.

My overall experience was above average. However, the length of time it took from beginning to closing was too long. Joanna Harris did an excellent job. She was quick with returning my calls when needed and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks!

My experience with this company was outstanding. They made the process easy and convenient. I had consistent contact with my team from the beginning all the way to the closing. They were all professional, personable, helpful and encouraging. I can’t say enough good things about working with them. Special shout-outs to Nicholas Outten, Matt Warner, and Mark Mitchell for being there for me any time I needed them. Excellent. Thanks to Tony Tucci and Melinda McGlothlin for making to this happen. Although one guy, Ed Zeckler almost made me to back down by not responding to my messages. Matt Brown, he did a good job for finishing up and pick the right title guy to come to my house. I think his name is Gary Puddy. I was late and my wife too, but he calmly waited. So my experience to you guys is amazing. I will recommend you with my friends.

I had tried to refinance my 8.25% mortgage with several other companies, but Meridian was the only one I found who was able to do it. Everyone there was very friendly and responded to any questions I had in a very timely manner.

The overall experience was very good. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the length of time it took from beginning to closing.

After reading some of the other reviews, I would have to agree on the length of time it takes, but I also feel I must say that this type of transaction is a process and often times a lengthy one no matter who you go with! Meridian has a wonderful approach with how they communicate often throughout the whole process so you know where your at in it. I was never left wondering what the next step was or how long before that step could take place because they always communicated these things and were in constant contact with me. Overall, I am very satisfied with our refinance and the fact that we were able to consolidate some considerable debt which will clean up my credit really nicely. :) Thanks Meridian Team, it was a pleasure doing business with you!!

I worked with Meridian for a refinanace, and had no real complaints. I’d use them again and recommend them to family and friends. Missed 5 stars on length of the process, about 3 months, although it did start in November and end in January, so the holidays added to that time. Also, there were a LOT of different people involved as the process went along, seemed like a different person for each step. However, everyone was very professional, everyone was timely with answering questions, I was contacted several times with updates without asking, I never lost my rate, and closing went well and was scheduled to my convenience. All in all a positive experience – they’re in a competitive industry, and working hard to be one of the better players in the space.

This is our 3rd time refinancing and it was such a pleasant experience compared to the others. Thank you for being so thorough, answering all our questions and keeping us informed of where we were in the process. Definitely will be recommending you to family and friends.

Although the process took longer than expected, I was kept informed and Meridian delivered as promised. The consolidation loan is saving me $500/month.

We just refinanced through Meridian and would highly recommend them. We’ve refinanced before and had terrible experiences from lack of communication and incompetency. With Meridian, there was constant communication by both e-mail and phone calls to let us know every step they took. Told us when they received our paperwork, when they spoke with our appraiser, each step of the approval, you name it.

We had an excellent experience through our refinance process. Primary contacts Jim Peterson and Phil Thompson were very helpful and extremely prompt all along the way. I found that Meridian was very helpful in the whole process if refinancing. This was the second time that I used them. The first time that I used them went so smoothly and quickly and all my questions were answered in such a timely matter. That when I was wanting to refinance again I went directly to Meridian and the second refinance was as easy and smoothly as the first time. I would recommend them to anybody. They are very helpful and very professional. If I find that I am in need of refinancing again I will once again not look around and go directly to Meridian.

The Refinance Experience went much smoother than I anticipated. I tried to refinance with my previous lender to consolidate some bills and was unable to. Meridian gave me my options and rates and we decided to go for it. The overall process took just over a Month so it all happened pretty quickly. They have a large team that pretty much took care of everything for you and gets things done. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

Overall it was a good experience. My husband wasn’t as comfortable with the ‘team’ approach, however I was the one who had phone conversations with many of them so I felt confident with their ability to help us with our refinance. We were always kept informed by emails or phone calls where we were at in the process. All the staff was very professional and knowledgeable and were willing to answer any questions that we had. The only disappointment was that it took two and a half months from start to finish. We would recommend them and use them again in the future. Thank you!

I was very pleased with the service and prompt responses I received if I asked a question. This was mostly done through email. I was discouraged at closing and only because I was originally scheduled for a 5:00 closing but called and had it changed to 4:00. I took off early and the closing agent didn’t show until 5:00. That was my only disappointment.

Our experience was very good overall. I felt very informed from the beginning to the end of our home mortgage process. As always, it is critical to have all your personal information available and return it promptly to keep the process moving as quickly as possible. I do understand the need for different people to handle their portion of the process. Each person was very knowledgeable in their area of expertise. I was always notified where we were at in the loan process and who had the loan package each time it changed to another person. But, I always felt I could reach back to the loan officer anytime, if needed. All of my emails were answered promptly even though there are 3 hours difference in time zones.
