The process took a little longer than first expected – long holiday weekends and VA asking for documentation we had already provided; not unusual when the government is involved in the process. Overall, it was a good experience – every person involved at Meridian was kind, helpful, answered questions in a timely, informed manner – in essence it was a process marked by integrity on every level of contact.

Overall was a good experience. Prior to initial approval I was never sure who was my main contact was if I had questions. I had calls/contacts from several sources but was never given one point of contact until after initial approval – but overall I would recommend Meridian.

we have never been through the refinance process. we thought it would take half the time that it did. everyone we dealt with was professional and willing to assist. lastly, we were surprised that we were charged, without notice, to have the residual of the loan wired to our checking account.

The entire team was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Their communication were clear, concise and constant. There were no inconsistencies throughout the entire process. This team truly vets the third party vendors that they use, from the appraisal company to the title company. They were punctual and professional. The appraisal was free!!!! Meridian Mortgage did a good job with my refinance. The people I worked with were knowledgeable and kept me informed. The process was delayed by information requested at the last minute. The only negative was that it took longer than I expected.

I had a great experience with Meridian! Usually I’m the one following up with companies but they took care of everything from beginning to end and kept me in the loop each step of the way.

I’ve done several refinances over a 20 year period. This was very thorough but had to re-verify same information several times. Overall they did a good job and would consider using them again if I were to refinance in the future.

I had wonderful experience with meridian. I would definitely recommend your company. I was skeptical to do a mortgage online, but everything went smoothly and in a timely fashion considering it was a VA loan. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and explained in detail everything I needed to do and everything they were doing. I like the idea of having different teams working on different parts of the loan. Reminded me of an assembly line. Kudos to Tony Eckert. I had inquired to many mortgage companies but he seemed very interested in a mortgage to meet my needs, and just sold me on meridian. Kudos to Anthony Spinelli also for helping me get through the process and making sure I was kept informed.

Working with everyone at Meridian was a pure pleasure. They made sure I was kept apprised of every step, ensured the process went smoothly and always ensured everything was done at my convenience. I would recommend Meridian Home Mortgage to all of my family and friends! When I recieved the pre screened mailing I thought ‘these numbers are too good to be true.’ It was for real. Meridian helped me be able to afford to live. I was able to refinance and pay off debt I never thought I could pay. Thank you so much Meridian and everyone who helped along the way!

I am very happy with the refinance my wife and I just completed with Meridian. Everyone I interacted with in the process was professional and responsive. Everything went as planned, and the end result was slightly better than the initial quote I received when we first applied. This would be a 5-star review except for the fact that Meridian uses a “team” approach, which meant that throughout the process I was frequently being introduced to a new person that I would then begin communicating with based on what stage of the refinance we were in at the time. If given the choice, I would have preferred to have one consistent contact person that stayed with me throughout the process. This is not a comment on any member of team, they were all great, but I simply would have felt more comfortable during the process if there was one person who I knew was designated to support me during the entire process, from first contact to closing. That said, I would still be happy to work with his company again in the future.

The process and the walk thru provided by the team was excellent and we managed to close the loan in two weeks. The rate and the term we got was not offered by any other mortgage company. Hats off.

I had never done a refinance before and Meridian was an easier process than original loan. The communication throughout was great. Meridian was easy to work with and the process went exactly as outlined by the agents. The process was about 3 1/2 months long. It went smoothly with all questioned answered in a timely fashion.

always responded to emails quickly, was very helpful through out process. the only thing i have is there were multiple people involved early in process and got little confused on who true point of contact was . but over all i would recommend the company to any of my friends and family .

In the beginning you were very quick to respond, GREAT I realize that it is difficult sometimes to get everything coordinated to make it faster. Seemed that we had to go back and forth several times for more information. Maybe if everything got checked ,sent to us so we could do all the extra’s at one time. Only other thing I feel could have been better was the company that did the evaluation of the property not quite as good as they should have been. When the pictures were taken of the inside they were very dark, should have used a flash. Also missed the fact that it does have a microwave oven which was not checked in the box. I will say as far as Meridian its self I feel they were very very good.

Overall very happy with what we got and the mortgage product they put us in. Personally I prefer to work with fewer people, thus my reason for giving 4 stars. Everyone was very professional and helpful and the process went as I expected for the most part. Paying for the appraisal and inspections that are necessary is a great selling point. I would recommend Meridian but also would feel obligated to inform the consumer of the number of people they will work with.

My first estimated financial package (refi cash out) i later found out was based on my house appraising at $50,000 more than valued. Then based on the updated real figures i decided to go conventional mortgage instead of FHA. Other staff were excellent and kept me posted and informed. Closing went well. Just know all your mortgage options because the deal typed up may not be the best.
